Bottom Hole Assembly Inspection (BHA)
an inspection method used on any drilling component used in the industry which includes magnetic particle inspection, blacklight, dye-penetrant, full length bi-directional etc.
Drill Pipe Inspection
an inspection that identifies defects before they cause serious damage, assures smooth operation and reduces financial risks. RIS Limited utilizes industry standards such as the DS-1 Standard and API Recommended Practice to carry out this method.
Load Testing
a test that checks the integrity of load bearing point of lifting devices, fixed structures, CCU’s etc.
Ultrasonic Testing
a NDT method that utilizes sound waves to detect cracks and defects in parts or materials and also determine the thickness of the material by measuring the wall thickness.
Rig Testing/Handling Tools Inspection
this method is used to assess the condition of an asset. Inspections are conducted to industry standards such as API or to specific client requirements.
